A soothing, meditative collection of Suites and Sonatas for flute and "claviers" (organ, piano and arpsichord) that spans the ages from the Baroque Era to the present day. See details for contents. The Melodia Duo was formed in February of 2004 during preparation for recording their first CD, Alpha to Omega: Flute and Organ Preludes for the Church Year. Since their formation, they have presented recitals in Greenville, SC; Lake Havasu City, AZ; and Phoenix, AZ. Their premier recording was featured on both South Carolina State Public Radio and on the nationally syndicated program Pipedreams, hosted by Michael Barone
